The final judgment of the administrative Court of the Republic of Slovenia (ref no I U 1871/2013) by which that court rejected the administrative dispute action and upheld the finding of the Slovenian Competition Protection Agency, namely that Telekom Slovenije, d.d., from (at least) 1 December 2002 to 5 September 2005, made connection to the ADSL broadband internet network for operators/internet providers conditional upon the prior purchase of an ISDN telephone connection by end-users despite the fact that these end-users did not require it nor was it at all necessary from a technical standpoint, whereby the company Telekom Slovenije caused damage to other companies and consumers, impeded technical progress and, in this sense, abused its dominant position on the relevant market, has, after more than ten years, finally reached its conclusion – one that represents a new milestone in the public enforcement of competition law.
