Recent Modifications in the Hungarian Regulatory Framework for Water Service Provision

This article presents recent reforms of the Hungarian Water Service Provision regulation in light of applicable EU rules. The reform brings about much-needed structural, institutional and dynamic changes but fails to create the conditions for efficient water services. This article points at potential problems that will have to be addressed in the future.
